| Description | | Register your team. Competition will be limited to twenty teams, selected according to the registration date and time. There will probably be some cancellations, so those slots will be filled with the waiting list teams, according to their registration date and time.
Competition will begin with pool play. Four teams will be assigned to each of the five rooms. The four teams in each room will be matched against each other, guaranteeing three matches for every team.
At the conclusion of pool play, the top two teams will be selected from each pool, based on the following criteria:
Most wins.
Two-team tie-breaker: the head-to-head winner
Three-way tie-breaker: total points scored
If still in a three-way tie, then the highest roll of a die, until the tie is broken.
That eight-team list will seed the single-elimination bracket. The teams not advancing will return to their school.
Trophies and individual medals will be awarded to the Champion and Runner-up teams.

There will be no spectators and no alternates beyond the six members competing.
No food will be allowed on site. Bring your own personal drinks or water bottles.
(We reserve the right to make adjustments if registration numbers are significantly more or less than sixteen.)
If a postponement becomes necessary this quiz bowl will be rescheduled for the end of that same week. |
