| Description | | On August 28, 2024, ESU 8 will host a Special Education Update for resource teachers, early childhood special education teachers, school psychologists, deaf educators, vision teachers, and speech language pathologists.
Training will include:
1. What we've learned in file reviews during 2023-2024
2. What needs to be included in educational evaluations
3. How and when to write a PWN
4. What must be included in IEPs for each age (3-4), (5-13), and (14-21)
5. What must be included in MDT reports
6. Other updates to rules or policies that NDE shares during the summer of 2024
