| Description | | This training will help schools learn about strategies to combat chronic absenteeism and strengthen student connectedness. This was developed by the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) for implementation through our local ESUs. This training provides a comprehensive multi-tiered framework (Tiers 1, 2, and 3) that can be individualized to fit your building’s unique needs. To maximize the impact on your school culture, we recommend sending a team of at least two staff members—such as administrators, counselors, nurses, or general and special education teachers—to collaborate on actionable steps for supporting all students.
