| Description | | This is a behavioral crisis interaction training, giving teachers tools to manage themselves and to teach others to manage their own behavior. Participants learn to recognize the early warning signs of potentially violent behavior and intervene proactively through de-escalation techniques and positive behavior supports. Day 1 teaches prevention, which is the main goal of The Mandt System. The Mandt System helps staff to create a safe and caring school in which students can say “In this place and with these people I feel safe.”
****This training will train with the updated Mandt 3.0 curriculum. New Student Learning Portfolios will be provided. There is no need to bring materials used in previous Mandt trainings.
