The goal of the Psychological First Aid in Schools (PFA-S) Course is for PFA providers to understand how and when to provide Psychological First Aid for Schools after a school or community emergency.
Learning Objectives:
* Identify the basic objectives and intervention strategies of Psychological First Aid for Schools.
* Gain skills needed to implement the intervention strategies of Psychological First Aid for Schools.
* Appreciate the importance of providing Psychological First Aid for Schools after an emergency.
* Gain confidence in implementing Psychological First Aid for Schools after an event.
* Identify ways to enhance provider care. |
