DescriptionSEBL Workshop #1: Exploration and Planning
This session will provide a foundational introduction to social, emotional, and behavioral learning (SEBL), connect SEBL to the NeMTSS Essential Elements, and focus on the importance of caring for the adults on campus. Participants can expect to answer the following questions: What is SEBL and why is it important for students, staff, and families? How does SEBL fit into our multi-tiered system of support? How can we introduce SEBL to our staff members? How can we systematically support school staff members so they, in turn, can support students?

SEBL Workshop #2: Adult SEBL
This workshop will illustrate the five SEBL competencies as they apply to adults, as well as provide the opportunity for participants to explore their lived experiences and how their worldview impacts relationships with others - including their engagement with students, families and the communities they serve. Participants can expect to answer the following question: How do we use the information we know about our competencies, ourselves, our identity, and our biases to ensure that we are creating safe, inclusive, and equitable spaces for students?

SEBL Workshop #3: Student Core SEBL
This session will describe the connection between SEBL, school climate and culturally responsive environments.  Teams will investigate implementation of SEBL at the core; exploring core curriculum and strategies for integrating and embedding SEBL within instructional practices. Participants can expect to answer the following questions: How do we measure school climate? What existing SEBL practices and strategies do we currently utilize? How do we know if those practices address the needs of students on our campus? How can we explore, initially install, integrate and implement evidence-based SEBL practices with fidelity at the core?
